Experienced Café Manager – Coffee Shop

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Café Manager to join our busy coffee shop and café team in Garstang. This is a hands-on role for someone who has previous café management experience, strong barista skills, and the confidence to lead a team while maintaining high standards of coffee, customer service and day-to-day operations.

Previous management experience in a café, coffee shop, or hospitality setting is essential. We are looking for someone who can take responsibility, lead by example, keep the team organised, and ensure the café runs smoothly, even during the busiest periods.

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing the daily running of the café and ensuring high standards are maintained.

• Leading, supporting, and motivating the team.

• Making excellent-quality coffee, including dialling in, milk texturing, and preparing a range of drinks.

• Delivering friendly, welcoming, and efficient customer service.

• Managing busy periods, queues, and daily workloads effectively.

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety.

• Helping with all aspects of café life, including serving, cleaning, and pot wash when needed.

• Ensuring the café operates efficiently and provides a great experience for every customer.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous café or coffee shop management experience is a must.

• Strong barista skills and a genuine passion for great coffee.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

• The ability to work well under pressure and lead by example.

• A reliable, proactive, and positive attitude.

• Strong timekeeping and a hands-on approach.

• Someone who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of maintaining high standards.

• Must be aged 18 or over.

Hours and Availability

• Full availability required between Monday and Saturday.

• Must be available to work between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm.

• Hours can range up to and may exceed 25 hours per week, depending on business needs.

Team Member – Coffee Shop

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and hardworking Front of House Team Member to join our busy coffee shop and café in Garstang. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.

Applicants must have full availability across Monday to Sunday and be available to work between the hours of 8:30am and 4:30pm. Hours can range up to and may exceed 25 hours per week depending on the needs of the business.

Some barista knowledge would be preferred, although a positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important. We are looking for someone with excellent people skills, strong time keeping, and a can-do attitude who is happy to get involved in all aspects of day-to-day café life. Duties will include serving customers, preparing drinks, clearing tables, cleaning, and helping with pot wash when needed.
